IntelのネハーレンベースモバイルCPUは1年後にリリース
The Nehalem generation is set to debut in just a couple of months but the first arrivals will be processors and platforms aimed at the high-end desktop and server markets with further expansion being planned for 2009. In about a year from now Intel will release the mid-range desktop (Havendale and Lynnfield) and mobile (Calpella) Nehalem platforms and it is the latter that has been rather unknown, until not at least.
Calpella is set to make use of the DDR3-supporting Ibex Peak-M chipset, dual and quad-core 45nm CPUs codenamed Clarksfield and Auburndale (the latter has an integrated graphics core) and will feature support for WiMAX and Wi-Fi a/b/g/n. Hopefully Calpella won't have Centrino 2's launch problems as Q3 2009 is already a pretty far off.

さらにCalpellaでは、Wimaxおよび、a/b/g/nに対応した無線LAN規格を備えるIbex Peak-Mチップセット
を採用。
“Ibexpeak-M”はIntelの次世代ノートPC向けCPUである
“Clarksfield”と“Auburndale”の2つのCPUをサポートします。
消費電力も含め、続報が期待されます。Atomなど低価格のモバイルCPUとはひと味違うのでしょうか。
ネハーレンも、9月に最初のCPUがリリースされるようなので、楽しみですね。
